Jenny McIntyre, a busy young photographer for "In Person" magazine, is engaged to dashing and successful financial analyst Ian Denison, but when her closest friend, Vivy Porter, tells her she has cancer, Jenny is forced to reexamine her choices. This weighty news about Vivy not only prompts Jenny to put a pin in her nuptials. She also begins to enjoy more creative inspiration than ever before. Jenny's inspired photographs impress her boss, Rick Purdy. He promotes her and gives her a weekly column. Also, Jenny begins a mysterious flirtation when she dials a wrong number but "connects" with a supportive man on the other side of the cell phone.
